LADY WASHINGTON

The Lady Washington was built in 1989. It is a full-scale replica of the original Lady Washington. Their mission is "to provide educational, vocational, recreational, and ambassadorial activities and experiences that promote and preserve our maritime history."

In 2006 I spent two weeks aboard the Lady Washington"learning the ropes" All crew had to dress in period clothes, what we called "Our Funnies."
