SETTING SAILS

Setting sails on a tall ship is an adventure in itself! To accomplish this, one must climb the ratlines, negotiate over the futtocks, (the small platform which requires climbing out and over to get on top of it), then negotiate your way out on the yard, with only a single line to support you. Once in place you untie the sail and then release downward. All of this takes place on a rocking ship while underway -- what a rush!
